IMPORTANT ADVISORY TO ALL ARCS
Please be informed that the GIARMC system and vendor has changed.
Below are the details of how you can apply for a third party motor accident report:
If you are or represent the owner/driver of a vehicle,
ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ALL MERIMEN CLAIMS USERS
With the launch of the GIA Easy Accident Reporting System or GEARS on 30th November, the email addresses of the Owner and Driver will be made compulsory. This is done as email will be the default communication channel with the Owner/Driver as well as to facilitate the purchase of Third Party Accident Reports by the Owner’s or Driver’s representative (eg Lawyers, Workshops).
As such, all ARCs are highly encouraged to obtain and key in valid email addresses into the current GIARMC system instead of 'NOEMAIL'. This advisory is communicated in the best interests of the Owner/Driver and ALL ARCs by reducing the need for the Owner/Driver to file addendums in GEARS from 30th November onwards.
ANNOUNCEMENT FROM EQ INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED
To ALL users of Merimen eClaims,
Kindly be informed that we will only be allowing access from TLS 1.2 supported OS and Web browsers from 26th March 2020 (Thursday) onwards. You may do a quick check via this site - https://clienttest.ssllabs.com:8443/ssltest/viewMyClient.html, and if you see 'Your agent has good protocol support' under the 'Protocol support' section then no further action is required. Else, please check with your internal IT for advise.
