If you are unable to resolve disputes on liability with the Third Party Insurers, please submit the case for adjudication under GIA’s Dispute Resolution Mechanism.

Please be informed that the GIARMC system and vendor has changed.

IMPORTANT ADVISORY TO ALL ARCS
 
With the launch of the GIA Easy Accident Reporting System or GEARS on 30th November, the email addresses of the Owner and Driver will be made compulsory. This is done as email will be the default communication channel with the Owner/Driver as well as to facilitate the purchase of Third Party Accident Reports by the Owner’s or Driver’s representative (eg Lawyers, Workshops).
 
As such, all ARCs are highly encouraged to obtain and key in valid email addresses into the current GIARMC system instead of 'NOEMAIL'. This advisory is communicated in the best interests of the Owner/Driver and ALL ARCs by reducing the need for the Owner/Driver to file addendums in GEARS from 30th November onwards.
 
 

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR PURCHASE OF ACCIDENT REPORTS

ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ALL GIARMC AND MERIMEN CLAIMS USERS
 
Starting from 6 Aug 2020, the 2FA platform will be enhanced. Please take note of the following,
  1. 2FA Secret code and QR code will no longer be displayed on screen upon reset/ register of new account. Instead, it will be sent out to user via the email registered in the system 
  2. Existing users may continue to use the one-time password (OTP) generated from the Google Authenticator Application (Mobile/ Desktop version)
  3. New user guide will be uploaded to system's Help content

To ALL users of GIARMC and Merimen eClaims,
 
Kindly be informed that we will only be allowing access from TLS 1.2 supported OS and Web browsers from 26th March 2020 (Thursday) onwards. You may do a quick check via this site - https://clienttest.ssllabs.com:8443/ssltest/viewMyClient.html, and if you see 'Your agent has good protocol support' under the 'Protocol support' section then no further action is required. Else, please check with your internal IT for advise.

All ARCs: There is no need to complete the updated Userid Request Form with information of current users and return the form to Merimen/GIARMC or GIA Secretariat. Please use the updated form only when applying for NEW Userid(s). Thank you.
